A local technology company built around asimple idea
Small businesses deserve reliable, understandable technology.
GV5 Technologies is a family-owned technology company based in Cypress, Texas.
Dave Vigil
Founder and technical lead
Dave leads GV5's technical work—software engineering, infrastructure, DevOps, and business technology. He has spent more than a decade building and operating software and infrastructure, including cloud platforms, Kubernetes, deployment automation, and monitoring.
That experience came from engineering roles at other organizations. Those employers are not GV5 clients. It is the background Dave brings to GV5's work, and it shapes how GV5 builds things: with an eye on how they'll be used, maintained, and fixed after launch.
When you work with GV5, you work directly with Dave.
Small on purpose
Direct communication. Personal accountability. No unnecessary handoffs. Practical recommendations. Clear project ownership.
We do not pretend to be a large firm with round-the-clock coverage or a deep bench. We do the work we take on carefully, and we say no when something is not a fit.
What we believe about good technology.
Written down so you can hold us to it.
- I.
Practical technology
The first half of any engagement is deciding what not to build. We trade ambition for time saved and clearer operations. If a feature cannot connect to a real business need, it waits.
- II.
Clear communication
You should understand what we recommend, why it fits, and what it takes to keep running. Mystery is bad engineering wearing a suit.
- III.
Right-sized solutions
Sometimes the right answer is a custom application. More often it is connecting tools you already pay for, or making one recurring task easier. We pick what fits your scale.
- IV.
Customer ownership
You own the code, the credentials, and the vendor relationships. We stay when an ongoing agreement makes sense. You should never need us in order to operate what we built.
- V.
Reliability over complexity
We avoid unnecessary complexity. Use AI where it saves real time; refuse it where it adds risk for theatrics. Prefer systems you can explain on one page.
